Bucket List Trip 2016~Day 5~ Williamsburg to Waterloo, IA via Oxford for Football

What does Mr. G do when I want to get in an extra 30 minutes of sleep time?
He checks out the breakfast room
and takes a walk around the hotel & gets some great shots.

At breakfast we found an ad that interested us.

We punched the address into the GPS and it sent us on a wild goose chase in the opposite direction.
We did find it thanks to the directions in the ad.
Basically turned out to be a garage sale.
Handmade items? Cards? Painted signs? Upcycled?
Drove on up to Morengo to get on Highway 6 to take us to Oxford.
Oh, and Mr. G suddenly stopped, turned around, and went back to pick this up.
He now has an Iowa ear of corn!

We passed this barn yesterday.
Uncle Keith said they predicted 10 years ago this barn would fall.
The Raspberry sign sends you to a farm where you can
pick your own for $3/qt? and eat all you want while you pick.
An afternoon of football with Uncle Keith.
He makes a mean grilled cheese sandwich with some locally made chips.
We did flip to the Western Kentucky game some.

Thursday I had been thinking we would head north after visiting Oxford.
Friday we decided to go west to Omaha.
Today as we left and Mr. G had looked at the map, he said lets go north.
So when we left Oxford after the game,
 which we shall not discuss,
we headed north.

I just know a 300 pound person is in the room over us tonight
and has taken their mile walk in the room.
The footsteps are stomping so hard
I feel they will come through the ceiling any minute.
Does anyone ever think about walking lightly?

I also dislike rooms that have an AC fan that turns on and off.
Disrupts my sleep.
